How to price your harvest
1. Price the bundle, not the piece
Buyers pay one price for what you hand them. Say exactly what that is — "6 Meyer lemons for $5" sells better than "$5" alone.
2. Use friendly numbers
$5 beats $5.25. Whole and half dollars are easier to say yes to, and most sales on PickFresh land there.
3. Start mid-range, then adjust
Pick a price near the middle of what similar items go for. Selling out same-day? Nudge it up. No bites in a week? Come down a notch.
4. Match price to condition
Perfect eating fruit earns the top of the range. Slightly soft or juicing-grade belongs lower — and saying so honestly wins repeat buyers.
5. Remember the fee
Your first 3 transactions are completely free. After that PickFresh takes a 12% commission — worth factoring in before you settle on a price.
